The project uses modular building component, instead of portable buildings
to provide a low cost – high construction quality alternative
for a Charter School on the site of an existing Presbyterian Church
in San Antonio. The compact assembly of modules allowed the existing
trees to be saved, while cladding the finished product as though it
were built onsite.
Sustainable features: 2x6 framing for increased wall insulation,
Existing trees retained, High efficiency and properly sized AC system.
The Classroom building is 10,000 sq.ft. and the Cafeteria is 1,800
sq.ft. Completed January 2003.
